How Do You Walk? For we walk by faith, not by sight...Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. (II Corinthians 5:7, 16 NKJV) To walk by faith in Christ Jesus is to after the Spirit, and not after the flesh; There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. + For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law [of Moses, and ten commandments] of sin and death. + For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. + For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. + For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the [new] law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. + But you [in Christ] are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. + Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you... + For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” + The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. (Romans 8:1-11, 14-17 NKJV) • Those who see Jesus as the son of Mary or Joseph are walking according to the flesh, and they cannot please God. In their carnal mind they ask, Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?” (Matthew 13:55-56 NKJV) > Such people does not experience the mighty works of God in Jesus name because of their unbelief; they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. (Matt 13:58. Rom 10:2-4 NKJV) • Jesus never called Himself the son of Mary or Joseph, but the Son of man because He took our place to redeem us from sin, satan and death; Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage...Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted. (Hebrews 2:14-15, 17-18 NKJV) • Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God and the Son of man; hundred percent God and hundred percent man. Those who walk after the flesh sees Him as the son of Mary. It takes the revelation knowledge to see Him as the Son of God and the Son of man; + Simon Peter answered and said [to Jesus], “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 16:16-17 NKJV) + But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” (John 6:68-69 NKJV) + Speaking of Himself Jesus says, the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.” (Matthew 12:8 NKJV) For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. (Matthew 18:11 NKJV) But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. (Matthew 24:37 NKJV) The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.” (Matthew 26:24 NKJV) Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. (Luke 17:30 NKJV) I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8 NKJV) But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” (Luke 22:48 NKJV) Hereafter the Son of Man will sit on the right hand of the power of God.” (Luke 22:69 NKJV) For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. (John 5:26-27 NKJV) What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? (John 6:62 NKJV) do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? (John 10:36 NKJV) Those who walk after the flesh sees Jesus as the son of Mary and observe what He never observed not instructed His disciples to observe, like Christmas and Easter. > So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God. (Colossians 2:16-19 NKJV) The substance[grace and truth] that is of Christ Jesus cannot be received by those who all after the flesh; But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (I Corinthians 2:14 NKJV) > All they joyfully accept is the doctrines of men coated with some portions of the Bible; they dont accept the present truth, which is the whole counsel of God. As Jesus Himself said about them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men...He said to them, “ All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition...making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.” (Mark 7:6-9, 13 NKJV) + Friends, how do you walk; by faith or by sight, after the flesh of after the Spirit? Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified. But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified. For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. And this also we pray, that you may be made complete. (II Corinthians 13:5-6, 8-9 NKJV) + Our perfection is in walking by faith and after the Spirit - Col 2:6-10. MARANATHA!
