How can Digicel mull over VOIP services on Sunday June 29, 2014 and on Monday June 30, 2014 I am prompted officially that these apps are no longer available. The reason given for this is that these services use up bandwidth and affects other customers. Does this reason justify what has been done? I believe that if your bandwidth cannot support these basic apps then stop pro-porting them as 4G, you boast of improving your infrastructure to accommodate first world browsing yet ban apps. The reason is clear, persons are using there data plan and communicating with friends and family using VOIP and this proposes a risk of revenue to Digicel. Where is the consumer affairs commission? Should the access to information act be amended to ensure things like these dont happen to the detriment of Jamaicans?
