How can the two arms of our national parliament convince us that their latest engagement to impeach President Jonathan is for altruistic reasons? Get me right. President Jonathan should long have been impeached for gross incompetence were ours a truly organic country. Now to the main issue. The legislators want the president impeached because the local emperors in their respective states do not want them to return to Abuja next year as senators and honourables. So, in their thinking, the best way they can have the ears of the president is to bank on the mood of the country and threaten him with impeachment. Of course Dr Jonathan is going to shake and hell promptly do the needful. That is the way of our politicians. They settle themselves and alls well with the country. Its that bad! More than anything else, its not only the president that should be pelted with stone and sachets of pure water, most of our senators and legislators deserve to be stoned... And I mean it... The gross incompetence of Mr President has their filthy hands in it... It is the same way in most states across the country where their governors are performing below average.. The state legislators just sleep away and rubber stamp what comes from the executive.. Thats after money must have exchanged hands... What shall we call these sinnators?
