How do the people of South Sudan have understood the freedom after their independence from Sudan? Freedom is a set of facts or process of being free from illegal act or unnecessary restriction---- are we enjoying our potential freedom? If your answer is yes, then why our freedom is in state of negative? If your answer is no, then why our freedom not being allowed to be enjoyed by individuals but only in and through both diversity cultural integrity and rule of laws governed by national constitutions? In my observation, the overwhelmingly dominant tendency in our recent situations after independence has been to open up negative freedom, we have exaggerated the nature of freedom image; we have considered freedom status as to be: free to kill, free to corrupt, free to destruction, free to sergregation and free to down graded the development of the new nation. These are the most characteristics of negative freedom which we have seen in our nation after independent. Before our independence, we were part of bourgeois society in Sudan, we were in conception of individualism which was not governed by social freedom. There was no emancipation of majorly of Sudanese society from legal rights, political formation, economic equality in all corners of Sudan and it was the reason why Sudan was in chaotic situation. It seems to me that we the people of south Sudan with our government have learnt no thing from that disharmniously problems we have been in. Here in our naton, freedom is sounded meaningless. Free love one another is a concept originated in the mind of human with an absence of legal ties, we have misunderstood it--- because our behaviour is moving parallel together with cultural sectarains which can prevent us from free love one another within our diversities society. We cant go farther with this dismay behaviour, we get to reform our society and let walk in love one another and in truths free expressions; walking in love and in truth is the only way our nation will have stability. Thanks and have the very Sunday prayers. God bless you all dearest south Sudanese.
