How do you feel about your art??? ````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` Only ONE WEEK until the start of my FIRST EVER CLASS SERIES! Im REALLY excited to be teaching a series of classes instead of a workshop format! This will allow me to go WAY deeper into intricate parts of contact staff moves and theory. I always feel the need to rush concepts when doing singular workshops so we can cover more topics, but in this series I will truly be able to connect with my students more and dive into the topics like they deserve! Staff spinning has absolutely changed my life and the way I interact with the world around me. On the physical level it has given me increased awareness of spacial orientation, self presence, timing, hand-eye coordination, dexterity, accuracy vs speed, and a really fun, challenging, and self-fulfilling hobby to do with my dog at the park! On the metaphysical side it has given me a meditation practice and a way to cleanse all the drama from my life for singular moments of clarity and peace. It has taught me how to be a more patient and self-aware person in almost every aspect of my life. Even on the superficial level it has given me great rewards of being able to act like a ninja and receiving praise for it! I think that spinning a stick around in circles is one of the most important aspects of my life, and I truly wish to share this passion I have for it with everyone interested to learn!
