How do you tap into the wealth of God’s power? And He (God) put all things in subjection under His (Christ) feet, and gave Him (Christ) as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in al l.Ephesians 1:22-23 God showed more of His power and might when He put all things under Christ’s feet. God gave Christ the authority to rule over all the works of creation and placed Him as the head over all things. Christ is the head and we are His body. If all things are under Christ’s feet and we are His body, that means all things are under our feet. The body is the church made up of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Subjection indicates a chain of command. All things are under Christ’s feet, under His command. Since we are a part of His body, we are united with Him in the heavenly places. When we understand and believe the authority that we have as an inheritance for what Christ did on the cross, fear will have no opening with us. We were created to rule and reign over all things upon this earth. Adam forfeited that position as ruler upon the earth and we lost authority. However, Christ has bought back what Adam lost and Christ has raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. We have authority because of what Christ has done and we are united with Him. Do we understand this exceeding greatness of power God is trying to convey is us? Do not tolerate demonic spirits to control your thinking, destroy your marriage, keep hold of that child, steal your money or have other influence in your life. Take captive those spirits of judgment, disappointment, hopelessness, bitterness, fear, depression, anxiety or guilt and insist on thoughts from the mind of Christ within you, your hope of glory. We can tap into this wealth of power that belongs to us. When we allow the Holy Spirit to live through us, and hide the gospel in our heart, we begin to live it out. The purpose and key to our existence is to know God by knowing His word.
