How do you view handicap? What does the word handicap mean to you? How do you perceive handicaps ? As a health provider, how do you announce the diagnose of a handicap to a family member? In what ways -or not- are public policies supporting, facilitating consideration for the rights of persons with other abilities? These and many more questions on this topic are the routine work of the Fondation Lou (Belgium) - Cinema special peak today on films on the topic of handicap and/or produced by persons with other abilities. We (Healing Mudras & Ubuntu 4 Change) have been supporting the EOP Festival since its first edition in 2011. We also provide ongoing support to the Fondation Lou (Belgium) for its out-spoken efforts to support associations, organisations and persons dealing with handicap in general. The Chairperson of the Fondation Luc Boland is a member of my direct family, and his son Lou, now 14 yrs old carries the Morsier Syndrom. Lou has a passion and a talent: playing the piano. His father a film director himself is the creator and the coordinator of the EOP Film Festival ! Simultaneously, Lou is now a talented and acclaimed musician.
