How fanatics unintentionally harm their own causes Saudi-Salafi - TopicsExpress

How fanatics unintentionally harm their own causes Saudi-Salafi fanatics, Jihadi-Salafi fanatics, Sufi fanatics, Hizb al-Tahrir fanatics, Deobandi fanatics; the one thing that unites them all is that they are bent on discrediting their own cause. Saudi-Salafi fanatics will use every argument to defend the indefensible Saudi state so much so that even the neutral people will come to hating it. You dare criticise their scholars or government and you would instantly be charged with kharijism and disrespecting the scholars. Salafi-Jihadi fanatics are the exact opposite. Their ad nauseam tirades against the Saudi government would make most sensible people sympathise with the Saudis. You dare criticise the Mujahidin over anything and you would be labelled a Munafiq, as if the Mujahidin are not regulated by the Sharia, rather the Sharia is regulated by them. Sufi fanatics do a good job of repelling ordinary people away from their way of life by harping on day and night about Wahhabis. An average person would often feel pity for these people who claim to be spiritually sound, while so visibly consumed by hatred for anyone who disagrees with their worldview. Hizb al-Tahrir fanatics are known for linking virtually every topic back to Khilafa. Often people get so fed up and sick of it that they begin to hate the very concept of Khilafa, which no doubt is an obligation on the Ummah. Any criticism against the party is almost taken personally. Deobandi fanatics will likewise do their best to shove the topics they feel important down everyone’s throats, yes you guessed it: Taqlid, masah over socks, and that Imam Abu Hanifa was a Tabi’i. You dare disagree with their Akabir, let alone criticise them, and there will be a campaign against you up and down the country! So my message to all fanatics: Your display of fanaticism is really off putting. It doesn’t win you over any followers and furthermore it damages your cause beyond measure. As the Prophet SAW said: “Beware of extremism! The nations before you were only destroyed due to extremism” - Abuz Zubair
