How good was that. Not for just us Souths supporters but for rugby League in general. Ive never seen such excitement for a grand final. Ive never been so emotional about a bloody football game. We had this mad uncke, uncle mick. He was actually my dads uncle. But he was on the board at South Sydney and he was as red and green as u can get. Every year as kids we would receive a plain brown wrapped parcel in the post. Tied with string. It woukd have a souths jumper, souths shorts and souths socks. We were recruited at birth by Uncke Mick. He died many years ago but he would be celebrating with a beer up there tonight and you can hear him singing glory glory to souths sydney. Ive waited a long time to witness a south premiership with my dad. And I had to go to the hospital tonight to watch it with him as he was admitted yesterday. But its one of those moments ill treasure for life..
