How has entertainment media changed us as a whole? Movies, music mostly. I think anyone can eventually see a static piece of art from the old masters, a Vermeer or a Van Gogh, and youre meant to see it however you see it. Theyre fairly constant and not much improved on, an age has passed. But we have a massive industry around movies, TV and music especially. Weve protests around movies, which are art. We have protests surrounding various musicians, who are artists. While the artists in centuries past have incited critics and such, they dont charge humanity the way that current art forms frequently do. Theres just about a protest a month, isnt there? Modern art is shaping society, but how?
