How is it possible that my 14-year-old gave blood at school today without ever getting any kind of parental permission? Dont get me wrong, Im not anti-blood-donation (despite the fact that I once sued the American Red Cross). But still...if somebodys performing an invasive medical procedure on my minor child, dont I have to be informed? Six months ago when she was in middle school, they couldnt even give her an aspirin. She was 14 then, too.
