How many remember the Roman Orgy night held in the Manzini Club? The pillars in the hall were covered in white cardboars and had grape vines painted up them. No chairs, we sat on the floor on cushions and benches were used as tables. To name some of the helpers.....Myself, Pete De Vaal, Wendy Firth, Sheila Seberini, (I think), Henry Trussler, etc.....any more, please add to the list. It was a great success and everybody was in fancy dress and many bed sheets were turned into togas. I think Les Spooner (SUT) made a very good Roman soldiers outfit. One New Year Party Dr Anderson arrived in a kilt and announced........OK ladies, I have seen many of yours now you can see mine and promptly lifted his kilt waist high! At another one Archie Wasserman burst through a white sheet of paper at midnight dressed in a nappy and holding a wand. Happy days indeed.
