How people see me: I am loving, affectionate, open, non-judgmental, generous and filled with the love of God. I can be very funny (for some reason Ive begun channeling Woody Allen and he isnt even dead yet - is he?) I know my craft well, there is no dog I cant help. There is no person I will not try to help. I am strong, very strong. And these things attract them. Except for the cross I carry, the axe lodged in my heart, the rocking life boat with the beast in one corner and I in the other. When they *see* this, they back away. Sometimes, they disappear altogether. My new life enfolds before me, a flower like no other, and it is growing from the greatest thorn any woman can bear and still live. Ashes to roses; but the thorn is there. I do not share it, except in this place and, even here, not fully. Because few can bear to read it. Few can or want to. Do not abandon me, those of you (and there are a few) who ignore my posts where my pain speaks. You dont have to read it, you dont have to like it (who can like such a thing). But if you abandon me, you will break my heart all over again. I will fight for you. I stand between you and a man with a gun. I will give you what you need even if it means I dont get what I need.
