How to Create a Newspaper Smokebomb Now I will be showing you how to make a smoke bomb out of commonly used things that you can find around your house. For this simple and easy to make smoke bomb you should have a box of instant cold packs, old newspapers, a roll of string, a bucket, a pair of scissors, some water, goggles and a pair of gloves. When you are going to do this you should probably do it outside. Also please consult a chemist or pyro-technician before attempting this and avoid coming into contact with the chemicals used and the smoke produced. Please dont attempt this without proper training or supervision. First lay your newspaper out and take the instant cold pack out of the box. With your scissors cut of the top of it and inside you should see a package of water and some crystals. These crystals are known as ammonium nitrate. Take these crystals and empty the bag into the bottom of your bucket. Now take the bucket outside if you are not already there and start to add a bit of water to the bucket. You want to add a bit then swirl the bucket around and keep adding water until all your crystals have dissolved. Take the sheets of newspaper and soak them in the solution, you can put in as many sheets as it takes to absorb all the liquid if you want. Please remember that since the beginning you should have been wearing gloves and goggles but if you havent put them on before you soak the newspaper. Once the sheets are soaked remove them and put them on a flat and hard surface in the sun so they can dry for a few hours. When they have finished drying roll the sheets up as tightly as possible and use a string to keep it closed. Your smoke bomb is now complete and you can test it. Do this at your own risk because it can be dangerous. Light the newspaper bomb with a lighter and stand back. Remember to have a water source at your side in case anything goes wrong. There you go a cheap and easy way to make a cool smoke bomb that will impress all your friends
