How to make multiple plants out of one plant. The best time to take cuttings is in the spring but really anytime will work. Clip 4 pieces of the plant (new growth) cut off the lower leaves with a sharp knife not your nails or you could be inviting disease. Dip the bottom in willow bark tea (I use that as a rooting hormone) Plant the clippings 2 deep. Put craft sticks inside pot and cover with plastic (craft sticks keep the plastic from resting on the clippings) and rubber band. Make sure you mist soil so it doesnt dry out. If the plastic has water running down the inside cut a couple vents. In about 3-4 weeks you should see new growth at that time remove plastic.
