How to scan info for your Literature Review! Good to have this for research proposal and to start your research work. 1) Choose you general research are (do not narrow it down yet) 2) Search for what ever sources (Book, journal paper, document, article, newspaper etc.) Quantity: 600-800 3) How to read 600-800 articles? This reading process call The Bird Eye Scanning. Read Abstract/Intro and summary/Conclusion part. 4) When you find paper that worth to go through in details put it aside (should be around 200 minimum - 300) 5) The paper that you have put aside is the one that you really need to understand, critically reviewed and built argument in your research. 6) And like a snow ball literature review will keep moving and increasing along the way to suit your every research stage, i.e : data analysis part when you need to map up your finding (evidence mapping process) Thats all from me!
