Hrant Dink is the cry of all victims of the Armenian Genocide! 8 years ago, today, from the intelligence to the government, police to the armed forces, jurisdiction to media, and all secret and explicit bodies of the state united around a national consensus as they did 100 years ago. They murdered Hrant Dink, our Hrant ahparig who had torn down the official, a century-old politics of denial of the Armenian Genocide. Just as they sought to totally exterminate the Armenian people, they sought to murder Hrant Dink eight years ago, and they did! But now, we face them as thousands of Hrant Dink! Murderers of workers, thieves, public enemies, mass murderers, deniers, those who created murderer out of a baby! We are here! We did not forget, and shall not forgive! As it were AKP government was so sensitive, they claimed to have caught the murderer in 32 hours! They acted responsibly in such a way as to promote all of those whose have blood in their hands! Some were promoted to higher ranks in NIO (MIT); some were even promoted to be Minister of Internal Affairs, some to be members of the parliament, most acquired enough power to rob the masses! The government supposedly caught the murderer, though; Sevag Balıkçı was murdered in April 24, 2011, in the 96thanniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Maritsa Küçük was brutally murdered in Samatya amidst continuing attacks on elderly Armenian women. More than 300 workers were killed in Soma; agents of Roboski massacre were kept hidden; youngsters in Gezi, children in Cizre were killed while AKP officers kept spreading hatred! There is still an ongoing lawsuit in the courts of Turkey. This lawsuit will not supposedly be lost in the corridors of Ankara! Yes, it was never lost, indeed. AKP government first ruled out Ergenekon suspects; and now uses Hrant Dink case even to fight against the Gulen Network to which they had allied for long! Just as Hrant Dink said, the real referee is the people and their conscience. You have been condemned in the courts of true justice, in the hearts of the people in Turkey. We have never been witnesses of your justice-sham, and shall never be! You, the murderers of Hrant Dink, Sevag Balıkçı, Marits Küçük, Ali İsmail Korkmaz, Berkin Elvan, Metin Göktepe, Ümit Kurt, Nihat Kazanhan, Eylül Cansın. You, the robbers, the watchers of the wicked reign, bear in mind that Hrant Dink is not a name of a case. Hrant Dink is the name of a people’s resistance, its struggle to exist with its own name and identity! Hrant Dink is the voice of all survivors.
