Huge round of applause to seventeen neighborhood leaders, representing fifteen different neighborhood associations and groups for signing up to participate in the Palm Beach County Resident Education to Action Program offered by the County Office of Community Revitalization. This series of five weekly sessions starting in November will cover topics like: Engaged Communities: Embracing Cultural Diversity, Grant Writing Success: Opening the Doors to Financial Opportunity, Partnerships and Strategic Collaborations, Take Action Now to Protect Your Neighborhood From Foreclosures and Intergenerational Programs:The Senior-Youth Connection. Participants in the REAP program will be eligible to apply for a grant up $5,000 for neighborhood enhancing projects. This is a huge commitment by our neighborhood leaders and kudos to each and every one for making the time and commitment to participate in this exciting opportunity!
