Human forgiveness usually comes with Hidden strings. Many people, will say I forgive you, with their words, but at a later time, maybe in an argument, that person will yank the Hidden string and pull what you have done, back into view! Saying I forgive you with words, comes easily, but truly forgiving and forgetting is much more difficult. Knowing our tendency to store past offenses and hold grudges, we assume that God does the same thing with us. But the Bible Definitely proclaims that God, after forgiving us, will never think of our sins again. So, Does God take sin Seriously? Definitely! Sin is so serious that it deserves the death penalty, eternal death for all who will not sincerely ask Forgiveness and by Grace through Faith alone, Trust in what Jesus the Christ has done on the Cross, and in His Death, Burial and Resurrection for their Salvation. Does God really want to forgive ALL sinners? Your question might be, Is God really willing to forgive even me? Yes, God is always willing to forgive us, even YOU. Even if I commit the same sin many times, or over and over? Yes! God sent Jesus to take the punishment for ALL sin, dying on the cross in our place. If you doubt God being Willing to Forgive, and/or His Forgiveness, then just allow the words of Romans 8, to Strengthen your Faith. If God the Father, gave up his only Son, Jesus the Christ, for you, then surely he will not hold back His forgiveness! Romans 8:30-34 and these whom He predestined, He also called (by the Holy Spirit); and these whom He called, He also justified (Saved); and these whom He justified, He also glorified. (honoring and praising) 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us (only those who oppose God)? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all (everyone), how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33 Who will bring a charge against Gods elect? God is the one who justifies (makes righteous); 34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes (defends) for us. So you see, that Gods forgiveness is different than human forgiveness. We see this in Isaiah 43:25 I (God), even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins. ......Did you notice: God says I wipe out Sins for MY Own Sake....God the Father will not remember Your sins, because of Jesus the Christ, who was also the Son of God, or God the SON. By Wiping them out, it means they are forgotten by Him and never brought back up again...... Romans 4:5-8 But to the one who does not work (for Salvation), but believes (by faith alone) in Him (God) who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as (My) righteousness, 6 just as David also speaks of the blessing on the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from (any) works: 7 BLESSED ARE THOSE WHOSE LAWLESS DEEDS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN, AND WHOSE SINS HAVE BEEN COVERED. 8 BLESSED IS THE MAN WHOSE SIN THE LORD WILL NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT......Amen. So, Can we Trust God to forgive us? OF COURSE! Release that load of guilt. Stand tall and breathe the sweet air of forgiveness. NO MATTER WHO ACCUSES YOU, A PERSON OR AN EVIL ONE. NO MATTER IF YOU HAVE DONE THE SAME SIN BEFORE, TO GOD IT IS AS THE FIRST TIME, SINCE HE HAS FORGIVEN AND FORGOTTEN ALL OF YOUR SINS BEFORE. Now some will say, I am saying it is alright to commit the same sin over and over....Not taking it seriously-----But remember this one thing, God is not a man that He might be mocked. He knows your heart and the intentions of your heart. Galatians 6:7-8 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. 8 For the one who (continues in a lifestyle that) sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the (Holy) Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. youtube/watch?v=twtND4ztIz8
