There have been concerns that arose today surrounding the lines for Christina Grimmie CDs, which came with tickets to todays concert and CD signing stubs. There were only 100, so demand was quite high. Given the volume of eager fans who wish to catch the concert, a line and a list was created at our MRT entrance for everyones safety. However, we did not anticipate the influx of crowd that rushed in from various other entrances to queue in the activity center. With this, we had no choice but to honor the said line because that is what we had previously announced. To those from the MRT entrance who are on the list, wed like to thank you for a couple of things. First, thank you for being orderly, even when the guards mistakenly held you back from entering and prioritized other shoppers. Second, thank you for your enthusiasm. Weve learned from twitter that some of you have been waiting since 6 AM or have even travelled from Region 1 just to see Christina today. You are the reason why we do this. In acknowledgement of your efforts, weve extended a special offer to the first 30 on that list, who have already been contacted personally by our staff. Again, our most sincere apologies to all affected by this oversight in communication. We will be re-organizing to ensure that this does not happen again, including considerations for a designated line area for future such events and a standard for the guards to follow. Now lets enjoy a Christina Grimmie concert! :)
