Hundreds of friends, family, and fans of the late, contemporary jazz guitarist Jeff Golub, who passed away recently of PSP, turned out at the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City to celebrate Jeff’s life on the evening of January 21. Musicians and friends including Mindi Abair, Rick Braun, Randy Brecker, Henry Butler, Lionel Cordew, Christopher Cross, Mark Egan, Richard Elliot, Bill Evans, Chuck Loeb, Philippe Saisse, Kirk Whalum, Kenny White, and Dave Koz put on an epic show that had people on their feet late into the night in a celebration that Jeff was leading in spirit. Bud Harner and Chapman & Co. Management, Jeff’s manager, generously donated one of Jeff’s custom Hamer guitars for a silent auction at the event, with all proceeds going to CurePSP. Please consider a donation to CurePSP to help find a cure for this terrible disease.
