Hussein was terrified for not being with his daughter because he couldn’t see his daughter crying the way she was crying on that day. Hussein checked if he has money on his pockets, but he was penniless. Instead he give a sincere kiss to his daughter as they were both walking towards their apartment. Halimo (Aasho’s aunt) was mad for the fact that Hussein was going to leave with them for two month since he did not had any other place to go. “Ninkan loserka ah bannacay wallhai”, Halimo said it to herself softly, but strangely enough Aasho heard it all. Aasho couldn’t believe what Halimo was saying and for that reason she went to the bathroom and cry for good amount of time. Then Aasho went her dugsi even though it was Friday and the dugsi was closed on Fridays. On her way to dugsi, Aasho had thought about a way to tell her dad the things that she had encounter. Aasho started talking to herself, “If I tell Abo the truth about the situation that I am living right now with my so called aunts, Abo will be mad and furious with them. What should I do??”!!! Eventually, she decided not to keep her mouth shut. ON her way to home, she saw her aunt Halimo with one of the ciyalka xafada who was walking the opposite side of her. Halimo stopped her and said, “You are so fat and fulay too. I dare you to defend yourself from the ciyalka xafada.”! Aasho looked down and said, “Habaryar leave me alone. What both Halimo and Aasho didn’t know was that Aasho’s father encounter everything with his own eyes for the first time without their knowledge. Her father knew that his baby girl was going to suffer, so he decided to have one-on-one conversation with his baby before he left her for good. Hussien called Aasho from the living room where she was watching Tom and Cherry with her sister Farhiyo. Her father said, “I was happy when you were born. You and you’re siblings were and still are my everything. Baba I love you, but I want to teach you some basic self-defenses in order for you to defend yourself later from the strangers.” Then he began to show her how to form a bunching fist and how to kick. After their long day of exhausting each other out, they sit down together. Aasho looked her dad: he was sweating, tired, and had worried face. He was wearing a black shirt that turned into gray and white pants. Her father took deep breath and said, “I know that Halimo, your aunt hates me. I also know that she will do anything to hurt you because of me. That’s why I would love for you to stand up for yourself because I am not going to be around for that long.” She looked her father’s eyes and realized that she was not going to see her father for a while until Allah’s willing! “Abo, don’t worry about me. I will fine In Shaa Allah”, she said. Then she hugged her dad and walked with him to the bus stop. Her dad got into the bus and looked back to his daughter’s face one more time. He looked her from head-to-toe as she was waving her hand. “Remember, I might not be with you physically. However, you’ll always be in my heart my child. I want you to take care you’re baby sister Farhiyo, but more importantly take care you’re self!!!”, her father shouted as the bus was leaving. All of sudden, the reality hit Aasho and she being to crying hysterically by herself at bus station. To Be CONTINUE…………………………………………………..
