Hyperbranched polyester can significantly improve the many performance of PET processing. (1) hyperbranched polymer has greater impact on rheological performance of PET, when HBPE-OH addition level is 0.5%, the torsion decreases by 60%, in 10% of the added amount can decrease by 77%; (2) HBPE/PET mixing system has good thermal stability to meet the general using conditions and under the high temperature processing, PET will not degrade though with hydroxyl terminal groups; (3) Through SEM, it proves that HBPE-OH can bring brittle-ductile transition to PET material.
