I AM SO HONORED RIGHT NOW! smh. i just made a rock-esque/ jazz-esque song last night using my bed as a drum, singing the flute part, basic vocal verse, and chorus. i just shared it with my band mates and they said they really love it. they think its amazing and cant wait to hear the finished product. i am so honored two individuals out in the band scene classical and contemporary like my piece at all. i was worried my tendency to write songs for musicals would cloud my writing ability for other genres, but apparently not. SO PROUD!!! feeling so accomplished and like i do fit in in the local music scene - something i always worried about due to the music styles ive been most exposed to. cant even put it to words. honored. just honored. i cant believe one of my songs is finally gonna hit the stage. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!! omg omg omg. yes!
