I AM SOOOOO SORRY! Just call me Mr. Off-On-Tangent Man... But I couldnt help myself after getting such a strange-but-cool video right after I mentioned how often I got funky artifacts on my wildlife shots where the camera is just set down... At any rate: dig this moth! What a fantastic silhouette dance! Came in most likely to some high frequency put out by the camcorder in a spot already packed with fleeing vermin... Enjoy..and note the little piece of Icterus chrysater: Yellow-backed oriole, which is why I was recording in the first place. Got a fantastic Tascam to get even better sound, but no way it sets up so quick as the camcorder, so that is mostly what I use lately. I separate the sound and process it with Audition, making a new sound collection I PROMISE to get on Xeno Canto sometime soon... P.S. Would that all 2-stroke engines in the entire world were eliminated...including my own weed-eater...
