A volunteer writes: Quiet and unsure in her arrival kennel, Lola is nonetheless happy to be out for a walk, taking the opportunity to go potty as soon as we are out the door. Shes a beautiful compact brindle with saucer like eyes which look at me with a confused expression. Found abandoned in an empty apartment with her buddy Montana (A1006859), Lola is understandably a bit anxious, but wags her tail gently as she comes when I call to her. Shes nervous in the street so we head to the back yard where shes reunited with her Maltese buddy Montana and she relaxes a bit. They are adorable together, an odd couple who love to be together, she going into a play bow for him, and he jumping on her back. Were told that a neighbor found them in the empty apartment, told us how sweet the dogs are and simply put them in her car and drove them to us. Sadly they had been abandoned for several days before found. Lola is gorgeous, wags her tail gently at other dogs when they stop to meet her, and while anxious as of this writing the upbeat and fun personality she really has comes out when with Montana.
