I DONT HAVE THE MONEY This is one of the most common excuses I hear, how do I know its an excuse? You can see it in their eyes and hear it in their voice it is then further back upped by watching their spending habits They seem to have the money to spend on cars, nice clothes, travel and entertainment So what you meant to say was… “I DONT SEE THE VALUE” Meaning I can’t justify spending the money NOT I don’t have the money They are NOT the same thing! Stop lying to yourself and others, you may think its easier to say “I just don’t have the money” than it is to just say “No”. BUT why lie? Just tell the damn truth! Its not your fault you can’t see the value. Maybe the value wasn’t clearly presented OR you just don’t need the product of service Why make up a story about your lack of funds when all you are really trying to say is no? Is it the fear of making the other person feel bad? Maybe, but why would you then knock yourself down? Get comfortable telling the truth regardless of how it may make the other person feel, it is not your responsibility to protect someone else from the truth #knowNOquit
