I GOT A TASTE OF THE BENEFITS...... The highest reward for a mans toil is not what he gets for it but what he becomes by it.~ John Roskin ;)~ Well....I guess you can say the adventures continue for me up here...today was a day that I can look back on and say...Yes, that was fun....Who knows what will happen in the end, from my efforts today, but one thing is for sure...It beats having my FACE TO THE FLOOR, like some of the days gone by..... There were a few changes at work today that seemed to ease up some of the tension, which is always a welcome thing in the printing business, especially around this time of year when the stress from Christmas cards and calendars can make a brother a little squirrely, and then, something wonderful happened right afterwards...... Ok, are you sitting down? I had an audition today at an agency here in Anchorage, and it seems that I may have been offered a spot on a local TV show soon to be starting up, as well as some radio time on their internet channel, and then some other really cool projects that they are kicking off very soon that could get me out there a little more than I had originally expected. I should be signing a few contracts by the end of the week if it all goes right. To start off with, the money is good, and it wont interfere with the Museum, or my Printing Company, both of which I love dearly, and are my first priorities in my professional life right now... Benefits? How about every where I look...Alaska has been so much fun, I cant begin to tell you enough about it. I really owe it a big thank you for all that I have been given already, and I never seem to lose interest in just trying to do some out of the box stuff up here....With my Ms. Cindy at my side, the winter is shaping up to be super exciting...You see she is a Ski instructor...and I have never snow skied in my life...but its on the list....Benefits?....How about bonuses as well!!! So on and on we go my friends, continuing to live life to its fullest, and to be as happy as I can in the process. Im not rich monetarily, but man, do I feel as enriched as ever when I get up every day....and when I look at it at night?
