And if like the Passport the NRI Card is lost you are back to square one. This is begging the question. May I also point out that lack of documents is not an issue with Amnesty seekers in general. A few applicants may not possess a copy of their Passports but an overwhelming majority do. If they dont, they produce any of the listed alternatives which are accepted by us and nationality verified. The thrust of your communication suggests that in your perception the bulk of Amnesty seekers have no way to prove their Indian nationality.
