I Need help anyone know what to do? Share this if you can not help in another way someone on your list might be able to help. 1994 Chevrolet k1500 Suburban 4WD 5.7l While driving down the road the truck died. We got it restarted but it shuddered alot and would not go very fast had to run and get pushed up a minor hill, After getting it home it would not start all the way again. When trying to dtart it it will crank over several times before starting just to shudder and die sometimes backfiring through the tbi. List of what we have done. 1. Replaced fuel Filter(the inline one) 2. an ex mechanic manually checked the timing and Took off the dirstributer cap and scraped the connections. ( he said it was acting like it had jumped time but seemed to be right) 3. Replaced the Map sensor. 4. attempted to use a timing light but wont crank over enough to do so. 5. replaced the spark plugs. 6. put more gas in it and added a bottle of Heet. 7. New fuses all the way around. 8. checked starter, fuel pump and fuel pump relay all seem to be working(check manually no tools or gadgets)
