I WAS IN LONDON NOT GHANA MINES MINISTER EMPHASIZED It may be recalled that news in the social media like Facebook, Whats app and other forum allege that the Minister of Mineral Resources Hon. Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray was arrested in Ghana with 2.5 Million Dollars. Reacting on this issue the Minister stated that he left the shores of Sierra Leone on the 7th June 2014 for oxford London together with Dr. Memuna Pratt, the head of NMJD and others and he was surprised to received calls from loved ones telling him that he was arrested in Ghana with 2..5 Million Dollars. He reiterated that their flight went directly to London and do not transit Ghana to and from the trip on their return on the 17th June 2014. Hon. Minkailu noted that if it happens then the Ghanian authorities should have made it official. He called on the publishers to go out for the fact before publishing but be it as it may he was expecting them to published the true story and apologize to him for smearing his reputation. In his remarks the Minister of Information Hon. Alpha Kanu stressed the deadly nature of the EBOLA virus and advised that we should with hold our custom and tradition of shaking hands with people. He emphasized that the deadly virus is spread through human contact. The representative of SLPP Mr. Tutangay appealed to all to harmonized the message sent out on EBOLA as the too much messages is seen as misinformation. Mr. Mohamed Bangura of UDM said that all the ten political parties will embarked on EBOLA sensitization in Kenema, Kailahun, Kono and Kambia as EBOLA is non political.
