I WILL SO MESS THIS UP! I can bend backwards to do most things for folks....This is Nigeria times are hard indeed the world as we know it today is not easy anymore so helping whichever way i can should not and has never been a problem. If i can i am just too glad to do it as long as it is within my reach. Gone are the days folks went abroad for greener pastures and back home jobs are prepared in a platter of gold waiting for them to come back to. Cymbals clanking, drums rolling and clans members jubilation in full gear because a savior has come back to land with the White mans knowledge. Knowledge gained must be shared otherwise it becomes powerless. I did this but when i came back i did not have the pomp and pageantry that accorded my return nor a job that was waiting on a clean table for me ......I came back and joined the rat race and created my path as i went along.....No God mother nor father in fact no father nor mother at that because they were gone just so soon. I got a call from someone i have never met......I went for some business or fate brought us together for some business of chartering of a vessel. That business i cant quite remember how it went but i remember talking to a man a few times. Oil business is about a lot of contacts and investigations i believe i may have done so much of this on that occasion.....I was asked for my company profile which i am so proud of myself for it is so professionally done and says a lot about me and what i do. It is believable because it has a lot of truths hidden it. Even i could say so. In Kogi the bad ministry people and officials of government removed the heading and embossed their own but stupid enough not to have edited the names it is that bad. Imagine your profile with all your details embossed in it with a different companys name but those that have the companys name cannot defend the contents of the profile how sad? I got this call from a gentleman or is he?......Please Portia i want a little favor from you he said i did not recognize the number nor the voice........who is this i inquired wishing it is not money favor because i am looking for who could do me such favors too now times are really hard Lol!.......Okay! i still did not know who because it has been over two years. He reminded me oh! okay how can i help i asked?......You sent your profile to us sometime ago and i have edited it and sent to a maritime company that wants to give me a job.......They did a search on your company and they know you so all is well.......So? I asked infuriatingly. Please they would call you for a reference i told them i have worked for you for ten years. I have lived in Nigeria for about six years now so how could you possibly have worked for me for ten years? And why use me as your reference without taking my permission, using my profile simply because i sent it to your company? After you have done so you are now calling me and expect me to jump and dance and say yes i will....and case closed? SMDH! Do you understand the implications of what you have done? I sent my profile to Mersk Maritime to charter a vessel and as a worker you kept it for yourself waiting for the day you will use it?.....I left them a year ago he said stupidly. So you left them and also felt it is right to have carried my profile along? Nigerians are very bad people. Chances are if this man had called me prior asking for my favor i would have done it anyway.......But to use my profile, forged my signature and the profile was sent to a big company he once worked for not to him personally. I am waiting for that call. I will tell them i have never met him, he is a fraudster and a thief. Right now i am going to report him to the appropriate authorities. I am a witch for real now watch and see me display my venom. Please Portia in the name of God help me .....now that has blown the last cord of the fuse. If that God could not help you i am now going to drown you. For he cant ask me a thing, he is your God with all his might he could not help you nor give you common sense to seek permission before you go on a frolic of your own thinking you can take the savior down. Watch this space for all hell is going to let loose. Nigerians are simply too much.
