I Walked past the young entrepreneur. I asked if she had sunscreen on. Nope. I noted I could not read her sign written with a stick pen. On my walk I hatched a plan. I asked her moms permission before my three minute marketing lesson. Then I asked her permission. Readable signage. Engage the customer with your goal. Protect yourself. (I gave her a sun hat and a polka dot umbrella).Plus I made sure she had bags that said thank you and pretty ribbons. When I talk about changing the world - THIS is what I mean by it. Do what you can, where you are, with what you have. By the way, her name is Joy. Really. Joy and this is not a metaphor!
