I agRee with Joyce Meyer...if the Israelites could tithe 10 percent under The Law, how much could we tithe under Grace??? TITHING is a Bible principle that WORKS. As a Christian SAVED BY Grace, I am NOT under The Law, and just as tithing did NOT start with The Law, it did not eNd with Grace. I see nothing wROng for a Christian under Grace to purpose in their hearts to tithe 10 percent of their earnings and TRUST GOD for HIS PROMISE OF OVER-ABUNDANCE. I have tithed faithfully, and I have nOt tithed at all...and I PREFER to tithe. I love this little Bible Scripture that solves everything for me...to him who kNOws to do goOd but does nOt do it, to him it is SIN. Something like that.. There are some things in my relationship with CHRIST that nothing could change. So my dear brothers and sisters in CHRIST who say tithing is NOT for the Church, as long as I am nOt tithing from your money, leave my tithing alone:)!
