I always love me some Ralph Nader. Hey, Jennifer Lane: he would support the more progressive Dems in mounting some kind of serious opposition *within* the party, while he himself focuses elsewhere -- kind of a reconciliation of our argument. I remember that much of history teaches us: for change to happen, it is required that strong forces work within the system while strong forces work outside and beyond it; without that dual dynamic, the gravitational force of the conservative position overwhelms any possibility of progressive movement.
