I am Grateful for Trees.... (and before you call me Hippy etc please wait so I can supply you with more material to work with!) Aside from the obvious food and clean air Trees daily provide us with, and the shelter and homes for other flora and fauna (who likes birds for example?)...I am constantly fascinated by the visual relief they give to a world that grows harsher and more sterile every day. We praise our Architects and Builders for their innovative designs but in the end theyre really nothing more than boxes with frills added when compared to the variety and complexity of Trees. Trees can lift your spirits when you are down if only you allow yourself the time and inclination to breath them in with more than your eyes. Trees offer colour and form that is both subtle and striking and can be true inspiration if wanting to create something yourself. Australian Trees also offer a calmness and peace that is almost impossible to find elsewhere sometimes. Trees ask for very little and give so much to us all. We humans would be rooted without them....
