I am a Feminist. Our gender roles have been shaped by violence and profit for too long, and it is time to shape them with something else. It is time to live for our hopes and aspirations and not our fears. Besides, it seems like any time you get 20 people in a room and they all agree they hate Feminism, somebody gets raped. I hate to say it, but its true. Just like it was true in 2000 that if America elected an Evangelical Christian to the White House, America would be torturing people for their religion in a short time. Sad but true. Open your eyes. Conservatives are all people who have glimpsed the future and run away in terror. They are all fighting history, trying to prevent inevitabilities like the collapse of Empire, and the outing of the Truth. Their only solution to anything is to run, hide, and buy guns. Maybe you should start listening to someone who is EXCITED about the future and not just terrified of it.
