I am a good person. I help a lot of people. I put others before me always, I sacrifice my needs for the needs of others often, I see potential in those who may not be given opportunity elsewhere, I am encouraging of my friends, peers and even strangers when I see they need a lil positivity..... and I love being that way. But every once in a while I am reminded that true loyal friends are rare, and that most people, if given the chance will take advantage of the good things you have to offer. Its hard to be positive and trusting of others when the ones you wouldnt suspect to take advantage of you.... do. But everything happens for a reason. These lil reminders from the Universe, although they can be hurtful, are just lil lessons to weed out the self-serving individuals who lack respect for me, and teach me to appreciate the REAL peeps in my life even more. My husband, my family, and my closest friends and clients truly show me that despite my struggles, I am blessed. From here on out peeps gonna have to EARN my trust, respect and friendship.
