I am am part of the fund raising team for Border Collie Trust - they rescue and rehome around 400 border collies and crosses across the uk every year. The team run events to raise cash for the collies. There are lots of events across the country both large and small wioth regualr ones happening in Burton, Loughborough, Ashby, Rugeley, Stafford and all surrounding areas. The cash raised at these events is vital to the running of the rescue kennels and this is where we need your help.... Our recent events have been very successful which is great and means that the lives of lots more dogs will be saved. This means we are running very low on stock which will impact on upcoming events like the charity market we have planned in Burton soon. We need surplus toys, clothes, household linens, books, ornaments and unwanted gifts, jewelllery, teddies - anything we can sell to raise cash for the collies. If you can help by donating anything for us to sell please get in touch - there are lots of drop off points in Swad, Burton, Colton, Loughborough and Midway and we can even collect sometimes.
