I am asking everyone that reads this to please contact your congressman to pass this...this is my husband...blue water vet...he handled the heavy equipment coming offshore...he also worked with the salt water tanks to prepare them to filter salt water into fresh water for drinking water...but the salt water did not filter out the dioxin...he has Type II diabetes as a result of dioxin poisoning...was just turned down for an Agent Orange settlement again...we have been battling this for over ten years...they said that his double amputation of his legs was not related to Agent Orange because he did not have boots on the ground...just go to a VA hospital and see how many Nam vets are now facing amputations due to diabetes...a whole new class of wounded warriors and they do not get any compensation...are repeatedly denied...they have been treated badly from day one and are still treated like they just arent important by the govt...the sad thing is that the chemical companies set this money aside for the Nam vets and the govt is treating this as though it is coming out of their pockets...these vets are not asking for a lot or to get rich...they need it to take care of themselves for the little time they may have left...I know my husbands days are numbered...and I would just like to make his life comfortable for as long as I can...thank you for listening to me...
