I am blasting a rant now....I have worked from 0653 to 2100....with no break....one bathroom break....one other RN..no tech. I have taken ppl to bathroom...lifted old men from bed to bedside commode....vital signs..passed all three meal trays... Drawn blood... Gave 2 units of blood. Given 2 doses of chemo....changed incontinent lady...full assist.... With a rectal bleed by myself. Talked to doctors... Talked to family members...ran down case mgrs. Took off orders. Gave meds...gave narcotics.. Gave nausea meds...changed iv lines....changed 2 port needles. Changed one bed linen....cause I could not do the other 3. Verified another nurses chemo. Changed telemetry batteries...warmed up pts food from home.....put isolation gowns and gloves... At least 30 times or more. And society....corps..govt..whoever.. Pay more money to someone to build a car... Than they do... To Take Care of Ppl..and you!!! I hurt from my head to my feet...my back...my legs my shoulders...my feet..now say something to make me Mad...I dare you. That is ALL
