I am concerned that the Federal Government is relocating illegal aliens all over the country while 2 deadly pandemics make themselves felt in the homeland. It also seems that it is impossible to stop diseases from coming over the borders, because they have not been made secure. Shouldnt something more robust be done to stop our borders from being porous, and prevent the possibility of widespread disease? Our government must leave the politics behind and do whatever is necessary to protect our populace. I am afraid there will be a tremendous backlash against immigrants, both legal and not. They will need to be protected from retaliation, and us citizens will need to be protected from them. We are told that the current illnesses are not easily spread but what of other diseases lurking on the horizon standing on our periphery? How do we prepare against them? If there is any hate or racist speech in the comments it will be deleted.
