I am hoping that our Canine Zoners can help with the sad situation - TopicsExpress

I am hoping that our Canine Zoners can help with the sad situation we have here as no shelters have been able to assist at all and take these poor dogs in. I was notified on Sunday night about a derelict house in Strubens Valley where the owners had vacated the house, welded the metal gate shut and abandoned four very young dogs on the premises a few weeks ago. The neighbour who notified me has been dropping food and water over the gate and yesterday we went and fed them and put blankets down for them (after my sister vaulted the wall). They seem to be around eight months old from the same litter. Two males and two females – the one female is pregnant! All unsterilized it seems. They have wonderful natures and are very friendly (but obviously confused and sad). The problem is that the one male is literally skin and bone. He is very sweet but very scared. We are trying desperately to find foster homes for these four babies but would like to get the very thin male out immediately if possible. My other fear is that these dogs were destined to be used as fighting dogs or will now be stolen for food and we need to get them out of there soonest. The property is in a shocking condition. No doors, knee high grass, rubble and glass where these dogs are running. Can anyone help with a foster home/s while we try to get them adopted? Sharon xxx
