I am in Los Angeles, and I dont know where you are. Still, I want to connect with others in the Chi rescue community in case there is a tiny Chi or two that I can help somehow. I am just sending your group this message in order to network with the Chi rescue community at large, and perhaps someone in the your group might know someone who works in Chi rescue in Southern California and can forward my information. I am looking to adopt one or two really teeny tiny, 2-3 lb. approx. rescue Chis, special needs dogs especially welcome! Im not new to tiny Chi rescues -- I have cared for three of the tiniest of rescue Chis so far (two were seniors and have passed), and I just want more! I just have a THING for the tiny ones, I find them MAGICAL. However, they DO take special care, extra patience, fussing, and attention. I just happen to have the time, energy, and inclination to take care of the really teeny ones. Since I cant adopt every Chi I fall in love with, I have decided that I can do the most good for the So Cal Chi over-population problem by taking on a couple of the tiniest, neediest Chis who need a home. I have decided to leave the perfect pets to people who have busier lives and dont have the time or inclination to care for a special needs Chi, and who arent as entranced by the tiny ones as I am.
