...I am just conscious enough now to be able to exclaim... #BEFREEFridays WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING LAST NIGHT!!! Jha D Williams has officially introduced herself to the #DMV and she did that!!! #Boston was in the building and the flash mob poem they did was unlike anything we have ever seen. My co-divas (Rebecca & Bria) showed up and kicked all types of a**... The night was opened by two of my most dedicated BE FREE poets Cory Whittington & Treasure Poetic-goddess ... My co-host Shelly Says So said some very bold and Shelly-esque things that you must experience if you have not done so already. Carla Anderson and Quinton Randall killed it together and individually. My twin Rahsaan Wordslave Eldridge came through and delivered a flawless jazz standard after Christen B. showed us what butter sounds like and I envision a duet involving the two of them (on my wish list). Alex Alexander declared what and who she is without flinching not once #OoooKillem. Harvey Dent spun his own ears off (that happened I promise!) And the complete icing on the cake was Trai Chic (my long time right hand woman) showing up and bringing my newest nephew Tiny Sir!!!
