I am just in awe hearing about my oldest daughters day as she is going through rotations at medical school (Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine). She is supposed to be on her OBGYN rotation, but she was called into surgery today to be the first attendant (I think that is what she called it) during OPEN HEART SURGERY! OMG... that sounds so scarey.. I am so proud of her.... she called me to talk about it right after she got out of the OR. Medical school has been EXACTLY what this young woman needed in her life... and it has given her a huge boost of self confidence too. Arshia is the kind of person who never wants to be board... always learning and figuring things out... medicine is the perfect career for her.
