Tomorrow, the voters will go to the polls, the votes will be - TopicsExpress

Tomorrow, the voters will go to the polls, the votes will be counted and there will be a newly elected City Council, School Board additions and the outcome of a very important decision involving the health of our community. I hope you have been following the true facts surrounding the issues, and seen the character and motivations of those vying for those select positions. We will live with those decisions for the next four years. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to those that have supported me throughout these past months. Im proud to have worked side by side with many amazing people working to make St. Joseph a healthier community! A vote YES for SmokeFreeStJoe will be a positive move for all of us. Fear of change is understandable, but believing the facts and the data that demonstrate being smokefree is good for health and good for business is paramount. Successful communities are those that can adapt to change and St. Joseph is in desperate need of a boost in several areas. My smokefree stance is not the only thing that defines me. Ive been an active volunteer and contributor in this community in many areas and numerous endeavors. Having worked for the City as well as being a citizen gives me a very unique perspective into City government. I want more for all of us and we deserve to be a better place in which to visit, live and work. With that said, I ask for your vote tomorrow in the 5th District City Council race. See you at the polls. Very truly yours, Mary Attebury
