I am leaving the attorneys office. My husband and I just purchased our dream home. Although I am not inclined to emotional outburst, I am fairly certain liquid gratefulness is going to pour from my eyes today. I already regret applying the voluminous million billion lashes mascara this morning. A naked eye would have been the better call. I wont be crying over the house. The house is beautiful but any four walls with a floor and roof is beautiful to me if my family is there. I will cry because the house represents one more thing in my life that exceeds all I ever believed possible. The house is one more reason in a series of reasons to feel like the luckiest girl in the world. For a girl who grew up by Auburn Station, played around in Piedmont Circle, was a teen mom at Carver High School back when they gave you food stamps not a reality show, etcetera, etcetera, life sure has turned out grand. I am grateful for the journey. I am exceedingly grateful for my fellow travelers who have loved me well along the way. Without you folks, I would be another dismal statistic. With you, I am living a dream come true. Thanks for believing!
