I am looking to publicise some information about an exciting opportunity for students in some of your faculties. I and the GM of a seed investment and accelerator program in Cape Town called 88mph. We offer startups and entrepreneurs in the mob/web industry up to $100K, mentorship and a global networking pool in exchange for company equity. Applications for the 2014 program are open now and I am looking to source the best people with the best ideas from the best sources. Naturally, thought of Wits as I am aware students are/will be graduating over the next few weeks. We are offering a fantastic and rare opportunity for people who might have an idea but no way of funding it or are lacking in execution know-how. We are also looking to recruit people who may be interested in working for an African startup up but dont know how they might go about doing so. I wanted to email and find out how we might relay the above information to the relevant student bodies (perhaps the Computer Science and Business departments) as I dont doubt that there are people graduating who are convinced they have the next big idea but have no way of realising it.
