I am loving Peru! After 32 hours of flights and airports we were finally able to enjoy ourselves. We spent 3 days in the Amazon Jungle on an Eco-Lodge. We went on boat rides up the river deep into the jungle, went on a night walk (I was WAY out of my comfort zone!), a 5km trek through the jungle (at6am to avoid the midday heat) where we saw many flora and fauna, including a tarantula, and had a night river boat trip spotting cayman - just to name a few. Joel ate termites. We had amazing star fruit. Slept to the sounds of the jungle. And Ive never felt such humidity. Now were in Cuzco and have one more day before our Inca Trek to Machu Picchu. And its freezing here! Awesome time so far :-)
